Neographics hosts top creatives in Puerto Rico for an important event

What do you say when someone asks you to record ten of the most influential creatives in Puerto Rico for a once in a lifetime event? We said, “bring it!”

May 13th could have been like any other business day; translations, some design work, meetings, and what not, but it turns out that this date marks the beginning of something truly great. The University of Puerto Rico in Carolina was supposed to be the host of the 1st Graphic Designers Meeting in Puerto Rico, but due to unfortunate events, it was cancelled. With very little time to spare we got the call to see if our offices were available to record what was originally intended to be live discussion sessions, and just like that we got involved in the project.

No words can describe the vibe that was felt during that day, listening to people like Flor Iván Camacho, Silvia Aguiló, Juan Pablo Gutierrez, Miriam Robledó and Prof. José Luis Ayala, just to name a few, share their expert opinions on matters related to the state of design and creativity in Puerto Rico. Loaded with information and suggestions for a brighter future in this important creative industry, the day went by too quickly for us to be able to fully appreciate the content being shared inside our office lobby area. Thankfully, our team was there to record every word of this important event for the benefit of thousands of spanish speaking visual communicators. After hearing what these bright minds had to say, the world will have to look out, because Puerto Rico is going to be recognized among the elites in the visual communication domain.

Stay tuned for the release of these highly informative videos, and get a glimpse of the future of graphic design in Puerto Rico.
